LIFE
I started with a career in banking, but the hospitality industry was always calling my name. In 1986, I followed my dream and opened a full-service asset management company. By the late 1990s, we renovated our first hotel – and it truly opened the door for me.

I love the opportunity to make the world a better place. It’s a rewarding feeling to bring people and design together to create one-of-a-kind experiences. I draw inspiration from everything I encounter – and every day is a new chance to leave a lasting impression.

At Coury Hospitality, I’m intimately involved in every aspect – from development to finance, operations to design. I’m proud of the way we bring visions to life through the details. Whether a historic renovation or new construction, we tell a unique story each time.
A philanthropist and community volunteer, Paul’s achievements include the Mayor’s Blue Ribbon Task Force on Downtown Tulsa; the Eastern Oklahoma Catholic Foundation Chairmanship; Chairman of the Young Presidents Organization, Newman Center at The University of Tulsa; River Parks Authority Board; Chairman of the Tulsa Trails Expansion; and Chairman of Tulsa Unlimited.
Paul is also the current President of the Advisory Board for Marriott Hotels’ Autograph Collection and serves on the Advisory Board of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio.
